A family run business CPD has been in the Davidson family since 1956. With their head office, production department and main workshop based in Chorley, Lancashire.
A strong reputation within the Northwest of England but not constrained to this area CPD offer national coverage from a number of strategically positioned depots across the whole of the UK.
An ISO 9001 registered company the business has built an enviable reputation in the maintenance, refurbishment and supply of municipal equipment; most notably refuse collection vehicles, however they are fully equipped to deal with the maintenance of all forms of commercial vehicles.
In 2009 CPD were pleased to announce the acquisition of the Winter Road Maintenance equipment brand Telstar. With their ability to embrace new technology and continuous investment in the latest design software CPD Telstar provides it's clients with excellent levels of reliability; producing class leading bodies, including tow-alongs, demounts and a wide variety of other gritting solutions.
Fast forward to today and as a company CPD are continuing to expand; an extensive fleet of vehicles on hire to both the public and private sectors, over 600 pieces of equipment nationwide on contract maintenance and no sign of slowing down in 2012.
Looking to fulfil numerous tenders CPD also has plans to increase their winter road maintenance fleet and their municipal waste hire fleet. The companies other services include the sale of new and used equipment and vehicles, contract hire, fixed price maintenance, spot hire and parts supply. CPD are proud to be able to offer a service to all the owners and operators of light and heavy commercial vehicles.
